Berlin’s neighbourhood of Friedrichshain is renowned for its art scene, famous clubs and weekly markets, making it a go-to destination for visitors and one of the most desirable places to live in the city. However, it’s also the home of one of our favourite Berlin cafes, Silo Coffee.
Established in 2013 by Australian-born Morgan Love, Silo Coffee is a slice of Australian brunch culture seated squarely in the centre of the bustling neighbourhood of Friedrichshain, a.k.a F’Shain.
Opened with the goal of offering great brunch in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the Silo team do just that – its warm, wooden interior and large, open bar offer visitors an opportunity to gather around communal tables with friends, or to tuck away in a corner to have a quiet moment over a delicious brunch.
The all-day breakfast and brunch menu is crafted using regional and seasonal produce, with a mix of dishes to suit a variety of tastes. Whether you’re looking for a classic ‘avo on toast’ or seeking something sweeter like a French Toast, Silo’s got it all.
