Baratza Encore ESP, Conical Burr Espresso and Filter Grinder

The Encore ESP takes Baratza's most popular grinder and opens it up to espresso. The same 40mm conical steel burrs, the same approachable single-dial format, but recalibrated so the fine end actually reaches espresso rather than stopping at filter. If your machine has no built-in grinder, this is the one tool that covers both shots and pour-over without intimidating you.

It pairs naturally with a Bambino, an Anna, or any espresso machine that needs a grinder beside it. A complete setup that punches well above its price.

40mm conical steel burrs

Conical burrs run slower and cooler than flat burrs and hold their edge for years of normal home use. Forty millimetres is the right size for daily brewing: big enough for consistency, small enough to keep the grinder compact. When the burrs eventually wear, they are user-serviceable through Baratza's parts network rather than a reason to replace the whole grinder.

Espresso at the fine end, filter at the coarse end

The grind range is recalibrated for espresso, so you can dial in a real shot, while the coarse end still covers V60, AeroPress, French press, and drip. One grinder, both worlds, without the compromise the standard filter-only Encore forces on the espresso side.

Single dosing, no waste

Grind straight into the included dosing cup or your portafilter. Weigh your beans, grind exactly that, brew. Nothing sits stale in a hopper, and your dose is only ever what you put in.
