The Sage Oracle Dual Boiler SES995 is Sage's most advanced home espresso machine, a dual boiler with built-in grinder, auto-dialling, auto-tamping, and auto-texturing, controlled from a 5.7-inch touchscreen with a proper Quad-Core CPU behind it. Auto mode takes care of everything from grind to milk temperature; Manual mode hands it back to you. One machine, one workflow, every option on the table.
For buyers who want professional-spec espresso without the learning curve, or experienced baristas who'd rather save ten minutes every morning and still have full control when they want it.
Switch between Auto and Manual from the touchscreen. In Auto, the Oracle grinds the right dose, tamps to the correct pressure, pulls the shot, and textures milk to your saved settings, everything in under a minute, hands-free. In Manual, you take control of the grind, the shot, and the wand with the same hardware a café barista would use. This isn't a machine that locks you into automation; it's a machine that does automation properly when you want it and gets out of the way when you don't.
Two stainless steel boilers plus a heated group head, the triple heating arrangement Sage uses to keep brew temperature locked through the entire extraction. PID control adjustable in 1-degree steps, so you can tune temperature precisely to each coffee. Dual boilers mean you extract and steam simultaneously; the heated group stops the shot losing a couple of degrees to the metal at the critical moment.
The Auto Dial-In system monitors each extraction for under or over-extraction and automatically adjusts grind settings for the next shot. It's the closest a home machine has come to the shot-by-shot calibration a good barista does by feel, and it's the feature that makes the Oracle Dual Boiler more than just an expensive bean-to-cup.
The built-in grinder uses Baratza European Precision Burrs with 45 automatically-adjusted settings. The machine grinds, doses, and tamps each puck ready for extraction, Electronic Grind Adjust makes the grind size changes itself, based on what the Dial-In system tells it about the last shot. No swapping between grinder and machine, no manual dosing, no tamp pressure to learn. The puck is ready.
The cool-touch steam wand textures milk to silky microfoam automatically, with settings tuned for dairy, soy, almond, and oat milk. Adjustable temperature from 45°C to 75°C, nine texture levels. For people pulling flat whites for a household of different milk preferences, this is the feature that turns morning drinks from a bottleneck into a button press. Manual wand control is still there if you want to pour latte art on your own terms.
Full 58mm commercial standard with a 22g basket, the same group size as the Sage Dual Boiler, Lelit Elizabeth, Victoria, MaraX, Bianca, and every proper prosumer machine at this tier. If you already own 58mm accessories, they transfer across. A naked portafilter and a range of precision baskets are available as optional upgrades.
The touchscreen isn't just a display, it's the interface for every mode, every setting, every adjustment. The Quad-Core CPU keeps it responsive, which matters more than it sounds: laggy touchscreens on espresso machines are one of the fastest ways to sour a morning routine.
Wi-Fi connected. The Sage+ Coffee App lets you power the machine on and preheat it remotely, so it's ready by the time you're at the kitchen. Useful on workday mornings when you want coffee five minutes before you can physically stand in front of it.
The Oracle Dual Boiler is aimed at buyers who want commercial-quality espresso with the workflow of a bean-to-cup, and who don't want to compromise on either side. It's also the right machine for households with multiple drinkers on different milks, for people who like tech-forward control, and for experienced baristas who'd rather have automation available than be forced into it. If you want a more manual dual boiler experience, the Sage Dual Boiler (SES920) covers the dual boiler without the automation. If you want the same level of automation with a smaller footprint and built-in cold extraction, the Oracle Jet is the newer alternative.
