Sorrel

Sorrel

For locals in Neukölln, the name Sorrel is synonymous with excellence – offering a range of seasonal and quality produce, they are one of our favourite venues to visit at any time of the year.

First opened in September 2020, Neukölln’s Sorrel got off to a rocky start for co-owners Morgan and Paul. The COVID-19 pandemic forced a temporary closure over winter, after which they came back with guns (and brunches) blazing.

Sorrel doubles as both a cafe and restaurant, offering brunch 7 days a week and dinner on Thursday and Friday evenings. Located on the corner of Pflügerstraße and Pannierstraße, the light-filled eatery is bright, welcoming and inspiring, with art ordaining its white brick and polished concrete interior.

At Sorrel, the menus are constantly being changed to align with the freshest and most seasonal produce. Expect everything from Turkish-inspired eggs (Çilbir), to fancy French Toast and their famous Schnitzel. To top it all off, they serve a range of fresh, locally roasted coffee and a natural wine list that keeps you coming back again and again.

And of course, their focus on excellence extends to coffee! Sorrel offers a range of locally roasted, specialty coffees, including a range of Field Coffees and single origin offerings from our friends at Fjord Coffee Roasters.
